The tribulation is not the wrath of the God ~ - Children of God are NOT appointed to the wrath of the Lamb, but the tribulation is not the wrath of the Lamb because it comes before the wrath to test those who are on the earth - The Bible does in fact tell us that Jesus rescues us from wrath; - 1 Thessalonians 1:10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come. - 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, - But not from the tribulation because In the world we will have tribulation.. - John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. IN THE WORLD YOU HAVE TRIBULATION, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” - Take a look at Revelation 7:13-14, which speaks of the saints who were killed during the great tribulation, remember that the wrath of the Lamb is not poured out on the saints so the great tribulation could not possibly be the wrath of the Lamb. - Revelation 7:13-14 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “THESE WHO ARE CLOTHED IN WHITE ROBES, WHO ARE THEY, and WHERE HAVE THEY COME FROM?” I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are THE ONES WHO COME OUT OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION, and they have washed their robes and MADE THEM WHITE IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB. - Here is another scripture that shows other saints who are killed during the tribulation. - Revelation 6:11 And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, UNTIL THE NUMBER OF THEIR FELLOW SERVANTS AND THEIR BRETHREN who WERE TO BE KILLED even AS THEY HAD BEEN, WOULD BE COMPLETED also. - Notice that THE SCRIPTURES ONLY SPEAK OF SAINTS BEING KILLED DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION and we know that THE WRATH OF THE LAMB IS NOT MEANT FOR THE ELECT - 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at THE LAST TRUMPET; for the trumpet will sound, and the DEAD WILL BE RAISED imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. - Many use the above scripture to say we escape the tribulation, but notice it says at the LAST TRUMP is when His elect are gathered together, that means there are no more trumpets { LAST MEANS LAST }. So if you consider that then it is clear that the following scripture shows that we leave after the tribulation, because there is a trumpet mentioned there. - Matthew 24:29-31 “But IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they WILL SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS of the sky WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY. And He will send forth His angels with a GREAT (TRUMPET) AND THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER HIS ELECT from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. - Mark 13:24-27 “But in those days, AFTER THAT TRIBULATION , the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. Then they WILL SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN CLOUDS with great power and glory. And then He will send forth the angels, and WILL GATHER TOGETHER HIS ELECT f from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven. - After the tribulation we see the day of wrath comes - Revelation 6:16-17 and they *said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; FOR THE GREAT DAY OF THEIR WRATH HAS COME, and who is able to stand?”
