The trigger for my afternoon mindless meanderings and civil discussion, if you please: video.foxnews/v/3648445513001/obama-sees-france-as-standard-for-workplace-benefits/#sp=show-clips As a businessman and a consultant, it is absolutely appropriate to ask simple questions immediately, such as this one: Whats the cost? How much does this cost business to do, and can they survive in business if they cannot charge enough to sell their GDP at a profit? If the choices are go out of business, or prices take yet another quantum leap upwards and thereby raise Frances cost of living (as could be the case), or reduce staff and find innovative ways to be more productive per capita - you know, as in Economics 101 (supply and demand, clearing price, standard of living, cost of living, profit, loss, risk...the basics, you remember, that drive the entire civilization!)...then what does one choose? Can we discuss this rationally without bad intent and worse language? I promise to do my part. This is worth our wise reasoning together, isnt it?
