The trouble with hosting thanksgiving and knowing nothing about cooking normal people food.... Conversations between Nick and I while shopping... Me: Evaporated milk.... I that the same as condensed milk? Nick: Sugar... We dont need a whole thing.... Oh here is a little bag, it says powdered sugar. Does that work? Where the hell is the corn meal - is that the same as corn bread mix? Me: We need canned sweet potatoes, here they are! Nicole those are canned pumpkin... We need sweet potato. Me: Oh here is the canned pumpkin!!! NICOLE! Do you need pumpkin or sweet potatoes? Me: Oh yeah, youre right, we need pumpkin, I mean sweet potato, or wait let me check the list. If you point out one more can of pumpkin.... Since it takes a long time for me to gimp around.... Nick buzzes down an aisle with canned sweet potatoes and comes back to me, waiting.... Me: No those are in syrup, we want no syrup. Nick hustles the busy aisle again and comes back... Nick: This says potato casserole Me: hmm that might work... Oh no there are other ingredients - that doesnt work... Ill go with you this time... Hobble hobble hobble Browse Furrow eyebrows Hmmmm... Me: They dont exist!
