The truth (use the following as talking points, dreamers, allies and general public): 1.-The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) and Maricopa County Community Colleges Diistrict Board are separate entities. 2.-ABOR is appointed by the governor and MCCCD Board is elected democratically. 3.-ABOR and MCCCD have separate set of policies, each ratified by the board. 4.-ABOR has not listed I-766 as a valid document to attain In-State-Tuition. 5.-MCCCD has on his long time held policies the form I-766 (work permit) as a valid document to request In-State-Tuition. 6.-DACA grantees get I-766 in exchange for giving his information, fingerprints to the Federal Goverment. Therefore DACA DREAMers should be allowed to get In-State-Tuition at MCCCD.
