The two stated aims of the bedroom tax cannot both be true. Theyre mutually exclusive. The benefit bill only gets reduced if people subject to the bedroom tax dont actually move. If a household not judged to be under occupying the property move in theres no benefit reduction. So now its clear that people arent moving (nowhere to move to), the government wants to talk up the reduction in benefit costs. Its an evil policy by an evil duplicitous government.
