The ultrasound did not reveal any kind of obstruction in his intestines. There was none at all. I was wrong about what was happening to him. The ultrasound revealed the lymphoma has taken over and it is everywhere. The spleen and kidneys have masses. The visible outward signs were not there, they had decreased while inside his body the true tell-tale signs were discovered through the ultrasound. The reason this is happening to him is no rib bone, no obstruction, but aggressive cancer. He will be with us for a little more time, but we have made arrangements. Duke is a protector and a jester. I owe it to him for all the love and fun he gave to us to not prolong his suffering.
