The union budget is a strong, sure step towards fulfilling the promises we made to the people of the country during elections. I happy to note that the farmers, who were only paid lip service by the previous government, will be pleased to know about the measure taken to improve their lot. There are lots of incentives for the farming community including loan at the rate of 7% and a proposed corpus fund of Rs 8 lakh corores. Additionally, This budget has its focus on health and small industry sector including some announcement for more AIIMS and medical colleges. For Bihar, there is a lot to cheer about. An IIM has been announced for the state including 4-more to other states and water-ways from Allahabad to Haldia will certainly benefit Bihar. Incentive for the housing sector and tax benefits for the senior citizen is a welcome move. Overall this budget is inclusive, bold and growth oriented. I congratulate and thank Sri Arun Jaitley ji for this commendable budget. Kudos!
