The value of community is often highlighted by tragic circumstances. An example of that can be seen on a Facebook page, set up only last night, in tribute to a teenage boy who died at Maesteg Comprehensive School yesterday, in a tragic collision involving a mini bus. Within 16 hours, the page has received 4,082 likes from people wanting to show their comfort and support to the family and all those involved. When we learn that someone in our community is suffering, there is a natural empathetic response and we naturally want to help in whatever way we can. It can be difficult to even know what to say to someone in their time of loss but learning more about grieving can help us to really be there and to draw together when it’s most needed. This video is a profound insight into the journey through grief. Take it from someone who thought that shed already dealt with grief a long time ago, just watching this helps open your heart and to realise that there is always something new to face, to accept and to learn from. Our hearts go out to the family of Ashley Talbot. https://facebook/pages/RIP-Ashley-Talbot/1558280621083724?sk=timeline
