The vehicle and driver that crashed into the Lamoille River in Cambridge yesterday have been recovered and traffic patterns in the area have returned to their normal routes. We dont generally post about fatal crashes, particularly when the circumstances are still under investigation, however we would like to take the opportunity to publicly thank Cambridge Rescue, Johnson Water Rescue, the Cambridge Fire Department, Vermont, the Fairfax,VT Fire Department, and the UJFD. These departments are generally staffed by volunteers, and spent much of the last two days trying to bring closure to the drivers family.
