The verses so beautiful yet so painful in their meaning describing the final days. The only thing that will benefit us are our good deeds. Dawah centres like Al Fitrah needs our support. Invest in our future here and in the Akhirah in one go. Be smart and think, count the deeds, the many new shahadaa, the prayers, the knowledge gained, the families helped, the charities supported, the media and dawah etc.. All of it in our accounts of sadaqa jariyah. Can we all chip in a bit and get 10 people to give £100 each? Lets help the youth out with their projects. Lets do this once a day and make it 1 of 4 a day. alfitrah/donate 1. A day of Fasting 2. Pray Jinaaza for someone 3. Visit an ill person (or invalid) (help them / serve them) 4. Give in Charity or Feed a hungry person This is known from the Authentic Hadith which describes Abu Bakrs Day. i.e. the following hadith : “Who amongst you is fasting today? Abu Bakr said: I am. He (again) said: Who amongst you followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr said: I did. He (the Prophet) again said: Who amongst you served food to the needy? (Charity) Abu Bakr said: I did. He (again) said: Who amongst you has today visited the sick? (servitude) Abu Bakr said: I did. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger ṣallallāhu alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: Anyone in whom (these good deeds) are combined will certainly enter paradise.” [Sahih Muslim]
