The very first ScatterTone of the Week goes to our #dassit Music - TopicsExpress

The very first ScatterTone of the Week goes to our #dassit Music Director, India Carney. India is from Brooklyn, New York, where she is a graduate of La Guardia Arts High School. At UCLA, India is a fourth year Vocal Performance major in the Herb Alpert School of Music. This is Indias fourth, and final, year with the ScatterTones (her second consecutive year as ST Music Director). Last year, India received many accolades for her achievements in a cappella, and was most notably recognized for her arrangement/solo performance of John Mayers Stop This Train. Over the summer, India spent her first few weeks as a camp counselor for the inaugural session of the A Cappella Academy. She, then, traveled back to New York to play concerts with her many talented friends, work the US Open as a court attendant, and star in the New York Fringe Festivals Held Momentarily (which moved from the Fringe Festival to Off Broadways So-Ho Playhouse). Lastly, India is hard at work putting the finishing touches on her debut EP Heartbroken, which will be available for your listening pleasure very soon. If You would like to keep up with India, follow her on Facebook and Instagram (@icarney). ALSO, here is a video of the ScatterTones at last years ICCA Semifinals. Indias solo on Stop This Train starts at 3:49. 7:07 until the end is a MUST LISTEN! Happy Monday!
