The very thing can have a profound impact when used in different ways! With a knife, you can slice bread or slit the throat of a man. It is the same knife yet a totally different action! In Surat Yusuf, peace be upon him, three shirts changed the lives of many. A shirt was used to accuse the wolf of killing Yusuf to camouflage his siblings’ crime of throwing him in a well. Another shirt was used to prove Yusuf’s innocence after falsely accusing him of attempting to rape the mistress of the palace! The third shirt was used to restore the eye sight of Prophet Ya’coob who was blinded due to his grief over losing both of his beloved sons. Praise be to Allah who plots, plans and facilitates our affairs even when we are asleep and noting is hidden from Him neither in heavens or on earth.
