The vexatious application to place an injunction on the NPP leadership election on Sunday has been thrown out. The Court held that a similar application had already failed and saw this as merely a repackage, lacking in legal creativity. The Court also observed that the plaintiff had never found it necessary to show up in court personally. Perhaps, instructively, his lawyers themselves did not bother to show up either. But, the written submissions were enough for the judge to rule on the matter. Ask yourself why both plaintiff and his lawyers always fail to show up?
