The viral video of the woman kicking the baby was a comedy skit. The person kicking the child was actually a man by the name of Contralus Lenard Brown aka TattedUp Brown who lives in Albany Ga. He created a popular Madea like character called Laquanda Thomas and his sister and nephew were making the video for laughs. Contralus, 26, and his sister Kasheika Thomas, 22, have since been arrested and charged with cruelty to a child and reckless conduct. Brown was also charged with simple battery. Police say by shoving the one-year-old baby to the ground with his foot, the comedian went too far. We do take it very seriously, said Officer Jon Segroves of APD. Weve gotten calls from out of state and many locations in reference to the severity of this and the people dont see any comic humor in it. Police also say theyre looking for the person who recorded the stunt as the investigation remains active. Bonds were not set for Thomas or Brown during the hearing. Youre suppose to imply the child was kicked through funny editing. I guess they didnt know when Madea rob banks and hit kids shes not actually doing it ....
