The vote counting for proportional representation category is now in its final stage with the process underway in only nine more constituencies. Nepali Congress maintains a lead in the PR category with 2,298,820 votes. CPN (UML) follows with 2,134,319 votes. UCPN (M) is in third position with 1,342,490 votes and RPP-N is in the fourth position with 595,211 votes. RPP and MJF (D) are competing for the fifth position with RPP leading now with 248,441 votes and MJF (D) close behind with 248,221 votes.
