The wages of sin according to Romans 6:23 is death and that was what Christ paid in full for mankind 2000 years ago. Satans greatest weapon today is not sin but unbelief:he has blinded the eyes of people from seeing the free gift and has succeeded a great deal at keeping them from understanding this finished work of Christ and has kept them struggling with their unfinished work to earn salvation through obeying the law.
