The water treatment plant in Flower Mound has a HUGE backup in their drainage that is causing a MAJOR health issue. I called them last week only to be told it was not their problem to fix... The backup is larger every day and there is now a pond alongside the railroad tracks & the Flower Mound water tower. With West Nile Virus being a major issue, I dont understand how this can continue. Mosquitos are thicker than ever along Crosshaven Drive (just South of 407) not to mention that the ROTTEN smell you get along Crosshaven Drive is horrific due to ROT. (The location of the problem is where Lewisville, Highland Village & Flower Mound intersect at 407 & the railroad tracks. The water is not draining properly from the Flower Mound Water treatment plant/water storage. The backup has created a pond along the railroad tracks approximately 100 feet South/East of where the tracks cross 407.
