The way news is reported abroad leaves a lot to be desired from the U.S. media outlets. While CNN (U.S.) is going on nonstop about the missing plane while giving little time for anything else, HLN has Nancy Disgrace, and Fox News and MSNBC go on presenting their own political slant, CNN switches over to a simulcast of CNN International and I see ACTUAL news. I got an extensive report on the situation in Chile and Peru, and a report about the General Motors recall. Why cant we have that here? How hard would that be? Furthermore, why do Americans have to keep doing the same dumb crap over and over again the rest of the world laughs at us for? Not to evoke the old Opposite of what America does cliche, but Im just saying. I just want something more like Sky News or France 24 in North America. Cable news doesnt have to be this stupid. Having an informative choice would be nice, not just 3 or 4 streams of 24/7 infotainment catering to the lowest common denominator.
