The way this is worded you would think Labour Party members and voters backing a Yes vote is a new phenomenon. Its not, but the medias got to try and keep up this idea that most people are voting a certain way, thats why they commission their show-polls by a pollster sympathetic to their views and release them at timely intervals. Its modestly estimated that around quarter of a million Labour voters and members will be voting Yes but I personally believe that figure will turn out to be a lot higher. Theres been a steady stream of Labour Party and Co-operative members joining the Yes Camp especially over the last year. Some have been reported by the media, others have been totally ignored. Theyve yet to report any major Yes Campaigner going from Yes to No. All the traffics flowing to Yes, which should be a good indicator to those not deeply involved in the ins and outs of everything that as soon as people start reading the information available to them online they overwhemingly move towards voting Yes. I personally believe thats because voting Yes isnt only the right thing to do by the people, its also easily the best and the safest choice by a mile, from all angles, from childcare to pensions. #indyref
