The way to make a mountain out of a mole hill is to add dirt. This is the quote that comes to mind when I view a few other FB sites and read the volume of posts alleging corruption on the part of the board in relation to Greektown. Gross incompetence, bad decisions, lack of management, inexperience, lack of action, bad advice....yes. But actual and willful corruption? I think not. Before people throw those nooses across a tree limb they should find out the facts. People are attempting to interpret the term fraudulent transfer into an intentional act done for personal gain. The tribe never sold or transferred Greektown. Rather than being misled on FB, why not ask the BOD for an explanation of the events that led to this suit. Several of them are still on the board. In addition to all the reasons cited above for the downfall of Greektown, the one item that sunk the ship was that the BOD never filed an exit plan for bankruptcy. This was under Joe McCoys watch. Instead of groping in the dark for information, go to the board. You have a right to know and they have an obligation to provide this information.
