The way we view our father is the way we view God. Sister Mary Matthew and I gave a talk to over 200 women in Trinidad with the theme, Healing the Father Image. Afterwards Babsey Bleasdale asked if there were any healings. One elderly lady stood and said she had been molested at age 5 and her whole life she had a stomach ache. During our talk she was able to forgive most of it. During Fathers talk and the Mass, she was able to forgive the rest of it. And for the first time the pain in her stomach was gone. Another lady stood and said she was deaf and unable to forgive those who had harmed her granddaughter, but after the talk she was able to forgive and her hearing returned.
