The way your success ladder looks to you defines your success. Now, how does your success ladder look in your eyes? What does it mean to you every time you look at it? What does every rung of it represent? Let me say this from lessons I learned from life. If, in your eyes, every rung of that success leader that you have climbed represents a person or a group of people you used just to achieve success, then you have not really achieved success. You have only succeeded in using people or sacrificing them just to achieve your evil ends. True success only means that with honest-to-goodness hard work and indomitable faith in God, you have achieved your goals in life without stepping on other peoples toes and sacrificing them on the altar of your ambition. That, to me, is true success. There is no other definition of success that will make any sense at all.
