The weather in the Philippines during my stay so far has been very consistent. The temperature during the day is around mid to upper 80sF. Around midnight, it drops to 79F-80F. Early mornings the temp drops to mid or upper 70sF. Humidity remains a constant 75-85% which is normal for countries this close to the equator. The sun rises about 5:30 am and sets about 5:30 pm during the entire year. My glucose meter was only giving me error messages. Finally, it dawned on me it probably only works in certain temp/humidity ranges. I put it in the a/c bedroom and it works every time. Super Typhoon Ruby is on the way. The weather service is tracking it well south of where I am staying. It is headed for the same area that Super Typhoon Yolanda hit last year leaving a body count over 6,300 +, 1,000+ missing and 28,000+ injured.
