The week is half over and only two days to go before the weekend. It has shaped up to be a spectacular week and looks to be a even better weekend on its way. Track prep for this weekends final race is coming along nicely and I was shocked at how much rain we had gotten last week. Luckily things are drying out nicely and we will be laying down water Saturday night before we know it. Our friends at MPX have an event going at their Moto Circus compound if you are looking for a great time to ride on Saturday afternoon. Make sure you watch for updates from Craig MacPhee and MPX on additional details for this. Speaking of Craig and MPX, they have a great offer for the first three riders that like AND share THIS update. Free entry into your first class at the final event at Stone Ridge MX this weekend. The final event for Stone Ridge MX as we posted previously and I will not boar everyone with repeating, is this Sunday with gates open Saturday night for those wanting to stay overnight and not get up early. Gates also open Sunday morning at 7:30, sign up 7:30-9:30, practice at 9 and the final gate drops starting at 10:30. $10 gate fee, $20 for your first class and $15 for each additional class. All big track classes this weekend will be cash payouts only. Jim ploechl will be around this weekend selling 50/50 tickets benefiting fallin rider Sonny Helzer who was injured in a MX crash earlier this year. Northern Powersports will be on hand with their trailer and some nice giveaways to thank everyone for the business and support.
