The weekend is over back to reality lol! We had a good weekend the girls all got flu shots on Saturday morning. I absolutely love their pediatrician she is so patient and caring. We were there just for a nurse visit for the shots but the Dr. wanted to peek in and check on Olivias ears cause she knew we were there. Luckily no ear infection anymore wahoo! Were still waiting on a appointment see the ears nose and throat doctor just to make sure she doesnt need tubes. So last Thursday Olivia had three AWESOME therapy appointments I was so so so proud of her! There is a small catch though.... Momma bear had to wait in the waiting room for 1/2 of each session. Olivia is definitely a mommas girl and theres no denying that. Without me she did great so I was proud. Her OT is so awesome she even sent me videos of their session! Here is a video of her using her right arm. This is amazing!!!! Granted the doctors have told us it is very unlikely for her to ever gain finger movement back and that her hand / arm will just be the helper side but if she keeps this up I wouldnt at all be surprised if she shocked the doctors! Hey she has done it before and Im sure she can do it again! My baby has miracles happening all the time! In her PT session they made her side sit with her left hand on the floor but if she picked up her hand she would fall. Her therapist put her favorite toy in front of her and Olivia would use her right arm to turn it on! You can tell she thinking and wants to turn it on but she is still learning to get control over that arm but eventually she always gets it. She just keeps surprising me everyday!
