The wheat we eat today (white and wholegrain), genetically different to wheat 100 years ago should not be consumed by humans by the sounds of it. Drastic but would cure many if they gave it up. The chemistry of the grain causes inflammation in cells and blood vessels, high cholesterol, arthritis, IBS, depression, obesity, diabetes etc but most doctors will not know this or say it because if you change your diet you wont need all the tablets bought from pharmaceutical companies. Im saying this because I love my friends and relatives. Having suffered through agonising stomach pain and ulcers for 2 years surviving on Nexium which just eased the symptoms, coming off wheat fixed it within a week. Wheat caused all the inflammation in the gut in my situation. Reverse your obesity, reverse your diabetes, reverse your arterial trouble... give up wheat, give it a try.
