The whirlwind that we call the Holiday Season has now come and gone. The parties, eating, gifts, family, cooking, cleaning, laughing, shopping etc. has settled down, and we are left with a calendar that looks somewhat empty in comparison to the last couple of months. Looking back, its sometimes hard to even remember what our normal routine is! The Boston reunion this past Saturday was great! Thanks to all who attended. It was so nice to see our Bostonians. We’re pleased to announce that Camp Wekeela will be participating in a social action initiative called Dunk Your Kicks (dunkyourkicks.org). Its established with the Max Cure Foundation, a non‐profit organization, to help fight pediatric cancer. We’re asking YOU, camp families, to bring and donate used sneakers to the *reunions where you can Dunk Your Kicks (aka donate the used sneakers) into receptacles we’ll have set up.
