The white tragic Saturday: yesterday was an aesthetic day for the nation (Nigeria). This was because the tyrants under the disguise of Nigeria Immigration Services decided to dupe the poor unemployed graduates of the entire nation and had fixed yesterday as the day of public ridicle and barbaric treatment of these unemployed graduates. The white tragic saturday serves this situation a mock apellation for the situation that took place yesterday. White because the poor applicants were forced to buy white clothes and foot wears in a short frame of time and at expensive rates; they were never granted entrace without the white attires- it reminds me of the fact that a particular graduate was refused entrance into the hall until I finished and exchanged my white shirt with him to gain entrance into the exam venue; it reminds me of the christian pass over feast of the exodus days. For this day, if I see the whites, I will allow you entrance into the arena. Tragic because the tyrants after extortint the innocent graduates of their monies, gave them (the applicants) all forms of maltreatments. Matreatments I call it because, after the illegal extortion of the unemployed graduates, no logical arrangements were made to make the applicants comfortable- they were not appropriately accommodated nor fairly treated. It either suggests that they (immigration authorities) wrere either ruthless or were ignorant about the outcome of the circumstances they had originally bargained for. This circumstance brought untold hardships ranging from people standing under the sun from morning till night, people missing their cell phones, poeple collapsing and some even died. It bleeds my heart that nothing can be done in this regards. Nothing I repeat because after the death of almos 20 graduates, the minister of interior was glad to falsefully testify that the graduates died of impatiance. I ask him: can the remote and immediate causes be traced to the said impatiance? More to come
