The white wall of the moon Smooth on satin stars. An ocean of mother’s air Bellows the cypress to bow. White wall! White wall! Through the sheen of window pane Fractured stairs of light Descend into the ground. White wall! White wall! White wall of the moon! I can feel it coming down! Echoing light of the sun Giving Earth a silver brow. The glaze of eye Flickers the phasing glow Of a gleaming mind-horse Made of night cloud. Oh, the white wall of the moon That shines the mind Within glimmering bone globe. Clearing out the gods And all the names And nothing remains. To challenge the shining incline Into descending gloom Of haunted love hidden In a black root tomb. White wall! White wall! White wall of the moon! I can feel it coming down! Defy the elliptic of spinning time! The tears spill into a silver pail. This is the extent of love. The booming glare of lighted squares Upon lunar travail.
