The whole point of terrorism is to hold people hostage with fear. What happens when we don’t fear these people? We gain freedom of our own minds again. Some may argue that the “terrorists” will kill us anyway. This is true. Guess what? We’re all going to die in the end! At least I know that in the very unlikely event of being killed by a terrorist, I would have spent my last days worrying about real things that are an issue in this country. Like the fact that the Indigenous literacy rate is STILL, in 2014, far below the national average. Like that fact that for weeks on end there have been several Aboriginal communities without running water. Like the fact that Asylum Seekers are treated disgustingly by our government, and then its citizens once theyre eventually settled here. Like the fact that our government would rather turn a profit than protect our environment. Like that fact that our government is a continuous cycle of the rich keeping rich and the rest of us without. You can worry about something that MIGHT happen. You can waste your time fueling your unwarranted hate with bullshit from mainstream media. I’m using MY very limited time on this planet to make it a better place. What are you doing with yours?
