The whole universe is a projection of the mind; therefore it is a mode of the mind. The true nature of the mind is bliss (peace), and when the mind is stilled, bliss (peace) absolute is revealed. The mind indeed is of the form of space. The mind indeed is omnifaced. The mind is the past. The mind is all. But in reality there is no mind. A yogi (seeker) has no particular path; He simply renounces imagining things. His mind then ceases of its own accord, And the perfect state just naturally occurs. Some seek nonduality, others duality. They do not know the Truth, which is the same at all times and everywhere, which is devoid of both duality and nonduality Non-duality is taught by some; Some others teach duality. They don’t understand that the all-pervading Reality is beyond both duality and non-duality. How can anyone describe the Truth, which is beyond mind and words, which is devoid of white and other colors, of sound and other qualities ? There is neither knowledge nor ignorance nor knowledge combined with ignorance. He who has always such knowledge is himself Knowledge. It is never otherwise. There are no scriptures, no worlds, no gods, no sacrifices. There is certainly no caste, no stage in life, no family, no birth. There is neither the path of smoke nor the path of light. † The Avadhuta Gita.
