The wind has now eased considerably the decision has been made to allow the frontline teams to go out. Refuse/Recycling crews will complete their own rounds and then assist each other in an effort to get all of the work completed by the end of today. Should any area prove to be unsafe then the work will be suspended as deem necessary. Street Cleansing and Parks & Open Spaces will undertake scheduled work and any other work as dictated by the aftermath of the wind. Beachlands - no initial reported damaged. Beach huts are being inspected and if necessary owners will be notified of any issues.
