The wind howls through this house, not quite in the way that it howls through the old settlements of Carn Euny and Chysauster, through the tunnels, funnelling into the fogou, and whipping the grass roofs... But still it turns the banner hanging from the beam, slams the doors, makes the dog bark and drift restlessly from the room to room, moves the curtain... Makes me think of all the places, however old they are or however new, that will over the course of time become whipped by the endless wind...The wind that blows whether we will or no...
