The winners of the Fraternal Order of Police raffle were drawn Saturday night at the close of the 2013 Nelson County Fair. Danny Downs of Bardstown won the Jason Ellis Thin Blue Line t-shirt and bracelets. Chad Downs of Bardstown won the Kentucky Bourbon basket. The names were drawn at random. The FOP also sold the Thin Blue Line survival bracelets. All the proceeds from the bracelet sales will be donated to the Jason Ellis Reward Fund. Many thanks to the Kentucky Bourbon Festival, 3D Graphics, Shanna Cheshire, Mary Jensen and Donna Shehan for their donations. Thanks also to those who participated in the raffle and who worked the booth during the fair. The Fraternal Order of Police Old Kentucky Home Lodge 43 is a non-profit organization.
