The wise in heart are called discerning, and pleasant words promote instruction. —Proverbs 16:21 (NIV) Father, you have told us to pray for wisdom, so I pray today for wisdom and discernment. Give me wisdom to make decisions that bless my family and those over whom you have given me influence. Give me discernment to know how to plan and prepare for the opportunities ahead and to know how to react and respond when things dont go well. I know that this wisdom and discernment will come from your Spirit who lives in me, so I commit to yield my heart to your Spirits influence and leading. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
