The wise will inherit honor, but fools get disgrace. Proverbs 3:35 We are often without honor in our own country. The world into which we are born does not afford much honor to those who embrace the Word of God, the very Wisdom of God revealed to us. The world denies Grace in pursuit of its own definitions of justice and fairness; chases power for self and tribe rather than submitting to the genuine Authority of our Heavenly Father. The Church is the subject of ridicule and persecution. But honor that fades is no honor at all. Our honor will be late in coming, yet perfectly on time and eternally lasting. Who is not a fool that rejects the permanent in favor of the temporary?
