The wonders of Chronic Fatigue, and the immune system. Having flu like symptoms all the time. Which means when a flu bug or similar is about, we are either laid out with exhaustion on top of exhaustion, or we dont tend to catch bugs. Well, we do but our bodies respond/react in a different way. It all feels rather peculiar. Certainly out of sorts. Having a cold or flu is acceptable, it will pass. It wont stay with you long term. We can manage the illness. Even with CFS, the bug is only making us more ill for a short time. Recovery may take lot longer, but it will go back to cfs normal eventually. I have had one cold since being ill and was so happy and excited. I felt as if I was getting better and was normal My body really did feel alive with the immune system working efficiently. Strange feeling that.
