The word, Contend carries the meaning of wrestling. When it comes to contending for the Faith and taking a stand for the Truth of Gods Word, are we a contender who defends against the enemies, or one who sits on the side lines and likes blending in and being a friend of the enemy who hinders? By the grace of God I choose to try and pin the enemy and not to be guilty of being a side line compromising hindering blender!! Come on out of the closets and help us with the defending because there are very few out here anymore contending!! (KJV Jude 1:3-4) Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
