The word TRUST. thats a pretty big word. it is similar and goes upon the lines of LOYALTY. they mostly go hand in hand right? MAYBE SO.. I believe to be loyal to someone, is to be worthy of trust or for them to earn your trust, that is not the same as being synonymous with the word trust; it means that loyalty is a necessary attribute of a recipient of trust. Loyalty is faithfulness or commitment to a person, cause, custom, idea or action. It is similar to devotion which is loyalty with emotional intensity and investment. It is also related to fidelity, which is the quality of being faithful. Faithfulness, is an important aspect of loyalty, it is a firm adherence to promises or an observance of duty. Trust is about honesty. Loyalty is about honouring your word or actions not necessarily to someone but also to yourself . Sometimes I feel in some cases you are lowering the value of trust in order to maintain loyalty, honour your word and your promises, and if you choose not to well then I believe you are lowering the value of loyalty to maintain your value of trust. Or there must be a really good reason why one of these or both of these are broken. Life in general is about balance, even though these two words mean different things I believe if they are compromised or mistreated by someone destroying your trust or loyalty in some way well then, the balance to or with that person takes a long time to be earnt or even occur again. SO If I choose too pick only one of these things towards say my friends do you think its a bad thing ? I sure as hell dont some people have ruined my trust but not there loyalty to me. And some people have gained my trust but arent always loyal, as I would be to them or they would be to me. I guess theres always gonna be something that someone will eventually do that will compromise which one you feel but I also think keeping your trust and loyalty in balance with someone and with somethings needs to sometimes occur.. I guess thats just the same as keeping some things that you feel shouldnt be shared with certain people to yourself, or to only who you know that has gained or earnt that trust or/and loyalty. I dunno why I wrote this status just wanted to put a view on it I guess. Those two words are often thrown around but not always kept or used. Guess peoples take on it would or could be different but.. thats my view lol.:)
