The word faith like love has been reduced to nothing in this apathetic culture. Men cower and fall to perverted fleshly lust, attach feelings to it, tell God it is love, then demand He accept it. HE WILL NEVER!! God is Love and to suggest He is a perversion is an abomination. He is God, HE TELLS US! Faith, also, has become a ten cent word. you just got to have faith or faith in a positive confession or faith in positive thinking(like Joel Clownsteen has made so popular). There is only one object which faith as God dictates it may be attached to and that is the Word Of God. All the positive thinking, positive confession and such will not move God one degree. God only responds to faith placed in His word. What the world calls faith and love may temporarily impose all the pragmatic values on the emotion as real faith and love but that is deception. That`s why the Bible says the very elect would be deceived if that were possible(if not for the Word of God).
