The word love (agape) is not based on emotion, it is based on the understanding that regardless of how people behave, they are a part of the human thread. When you turn this word around, you get evol, which is the prefix to evolve and evolution. These two words are alluding to growth, and moving beyond something. The love that we carry should not dissolve because of what happens in life, because then it is not love, it is infatuation. Love is an inner peace about life that can only be diminished if we lose sight on the real. The real is not the seen, its the unseen simple things that provide support for you in times of loneliness and dark places. Real love makes you smile when the atmosphere is full of frowns. It is the laughter in the midst of a world full of tears. It is the joy that others cant understand, and you cant comprehend. It is the vengeance against every perceived enemy! Love is the match that lights the coals of fire upon the heads of those that despitefully use you, not revenge. It is not based on how you feel, it just is...... Lets try keeping still, and finding that place. No, dont be a doormat for anyone, but dont let them run all over your mind either, and rule your day. Find out who you are, and then teach the world how to treat you!
