The word of the day is N-E-V-E-R for the start of NO-vember The word never, although normally associated with a negative connotation, has a profound positive ramification if used in the right context. The word never means not ever or not at any time according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary. Looking at it in this light with a positive spin, it means accomplishing those things that you thought were never possible or that you thought would never occur in your life. Now with that said, let us look at your dreams, desires, and hopes. Why have they never manifested. Why are they still mainly wishes and wants? In other words, why are they still sitting on the shelves in your mind and heart and have not yet occurred? The answer is simple. If you have not noticed by now in reading this, it is really hard to speak about the word never without using the word occur. The two go hand in hand. This simply illustrates that in order to eliminate the nevers in our life, something different must occur. So with that said, what must you do something different that you have never done before, to make your never situation occur? It all boils down to this simple point. To accomplish that thing that you thought would never occur, you must tackle the obstacles before you with faith and determination to make sure the thing occurs. Do something different each day and watch as your nevers become always occurring (A Daily Norm). ~ Tommie Anderson Jr., M.B.A. ~
