The word positivehas hopeful connotations. However, when you receive a positive diagnosis, the opposite may be true. In my case, my positive diagnosis of the BRCA 1 Gene is hopeful. Tomorrow morning I have the ability to become a Previvor of Breast Cancer. That is pretty awesome. My Mother is a two time Breast Cancer Survivor. That is most definitely awesome. Technology has become so advanced over the past 33 years, that they can now identify a specific gene mutation that predisposes me to be at a far greater risk of getting Breast Cancer. This knowledge is allowing me to make personal, proactive choices prior to receiving a positive Cancer diagnosis. Awesome, right? I am a firm believer in putting positive vibes out into the universe to receive positive vibes back. If you are so inclined, please think just one positive thought for me. I promise to receive it with open arms, and pass it along when others are in need. If you have a family history of Breast Cancer or Ovarian Cancer (or know someone who does) mention to them how far along technology has come. Perhaps it will save a life... How awesome is that?! #keepingitreal #previvor #genetics #apropostshirt #positivethinker
