The words thank you dont seem quite adequate for all that our armed forces do to keep us safe from harm. Each time I see a member of our armed forces, I stop and tell them thank you for your service, if we are out to eat, I pick up the bill...WHY..because all the things/people I hold most dear are safe because of your sacrifice.
