The work that we as new covenant believers are commanded to do is "believe in the One who the Father sent." But here is where it gets interesting. Jesus being the brilliant God-man He was, knew this truth. He knew that faith is not conjured up in the flesh we cannot muster up more and more faith, faith is revealed and grows where the the Gospel is revealed. (Romans1:17) So the one thing we are supposed to work at doing, believing or having faith in Jesus we cannot apart from the gospel, which is Gods goodness on display! it is the good news. Faith is only found and grows where grace the gospel of Jesus is revealed. Beloved, as we work at knowing more about Jesus and His finished work on the cross everything else will then become a fruit and not something we work to perform. #workat #knowingJesus
