The world Fox News inhabits is truly in a universe unfamiliar to normal, sane, sentient people. In the past 36 hours or so since ISIS released the video of the beheading of journalist James Foley, Fox on-air hosts, guests and commentators have been railing against Obama. First, for not remarking soon enough, then for only remarking and not dropping bombs, and then for not doing enough to rescue him in the first place. Then late today, the White House revealed that a secret mission was conducted last year by US Special Forces in an attempt to free Foley and some other hostages. Regrettably, the mission was unsuccessful, as the hostages had been removed from the location of the raid. So Fox News is now not only blaming Obama for the failure of the mission, but also for revealing that the mission even took place - and accusing him of jeopardizing national security by doing so. I used to think Fox News was just another comedy channel. Ive come to realize they are really the propaganda wing of a domestic terrorist movement bent on destroying every basic American institution.
