The world (all of us in it) tend to idolize financial success. Yet, abundance of wealth has nothing to do with kindness, character, love, joy, peace, patience, etc. if money was a fruit of the Spirit it would have been listed as such. But its not. Rather we are warned that it is the root of many evils and to be cautioned for many have wandered from the faith while pursuing it. So why do we put so much weight in it? Why do we tend to be more mindful or even nervous around a billionaire vs a middle class person? Why do we allow ourselves to let days, weeks and ultimately years go by as we pursue wealth to acquire more stuff that we have to pay more interest on. God doesnt give us a redo. We only have one chance to live, then we die and give an account. Ask yourself why today. Why am I doing what Im doing. Do I want to be doing this same thing next year. In 5 years will anything have changed? What will you regret that you can change now. What is price for how your living and is it worth the cost?
