The world around us is looking for answers. Some of Jesus final words when He walked the earth were for His followers to go and make disciples of all nations.(Matt. 28:19) Any of us can see that the world of today is not the world of ten or twenty or thrity years ago. As time goes on, it becomes more and more obvious that the age of affliction Christ spoke about is not some mysterious theological term. It could be a period where there is a world war or world economic depression or world where people are valued less in order to preserve our own material corner and illusion, refusing to address the many warnings outside our windows that our corner of the world is going to change. .
