The world is a strange and wondrous place.....Or, is it a state of mind? Im not positive with facts of either scenario, yet, I am at 42 years old still easily fascinated by what I see, and perceive in ............... The World. An example is me just laying low lately. Just .................watching. looking.... listening.... pondering..... paying attention to pontiffs pontificating plainly, so to speak general. Last week I was pulled over near a farmers plow field, not really paying attention, but surpassing the time just scanning the scene. When to my surprise I noticed out of my peripheral a small bird which to me seemed to be frozen in time ? I pulled out my binoculars and yepp, sure enough this little hermit thrush was frozen. I mean it didnt move........AT ALL! As I scanned the immobile thrush I wondered if it was dead or just really, really cold? After many minutes it did not move. Than a strange thing occurred. A cow came strolling absent mindedly over to the landing of this simple unprotected thrush, and well, shit on it! Excuse my French ( Is shit a French word ?) every body sys Excuse my French when they must use a vulgar word of grammar so just saying. Anyways back to the Bull of the Story. This cow layed its manure on top of the little frozen thrush. Now, before you think to yourself yukk , hear this story out. Well, the heat from the poop actually thawed the little frozen bird, enough for it to start to chirp and move its head and wings a lil. Which caught the attention of a barn cat! Which after seeing the commotion under the influence of its own curiosity came and started to dig the little thrush out from under the manure. I couldnt believe what I was seeing. This dead bird comes to life from a cows shit, and than is being unburied alive from a barn cat!??? WHAT!????? Well , it wasnt too long after that friendly, curious barn cat ate that little bird, I was astonished and pondered what I just witnessed. My conclusion is that all the shit we seem to be under might not be that bad, after all it is what brought back that little bird to life from the heat of it ( fire ) And not everybody that seems to be there to help you out of the shit is there to help. No they just want to get you far away enough from the shit to eat you............ Thats my story and well............... Im stickin to it.
