The world is closer and closer together.. people need to realise that we have to act collectively to achieve goals in the world such as eradication of exploitation, inequality and acting on climate issues!!! Therefore, we have to work out how to relate to each other in a compassionate way, and have an open mind, seek to understand why hatred occurs before we judge. The root causes of division must be eradicated, and we all have to deal with every individuals right to their beliefs, including their religion... sorry Australia but we are not a white Anglo-Saxon males paradise, we were originally the property of indigenous, dark skinned people from various language and cultural groups, we were then seized by British people, and then inhabited by an endless succession of people from all corners of the globe... this might be a cliche catchphrase --- UNITY IN DIVERSITY --- and something that many countries use to bring together disparate groups into a cohesive nation but it does truly make us stronger in the long run to have such a dynamic society, with comprehensive human resources and problem solving skills coming from a variety of humans.The reality of this planet is that it has within it people of all denominations and backgrounds -- Australia is a microcosm of the world... difference!!! unity in difference!!! all for one, one for all...work it out. each one teach one.
